It's official — Creighton University has announced its 2026 volleyball schedule, and I think Bluejays fans are going to love what's coming to D.J. Sokol Arena this fall. The slate includes the State Farm Showcase, a stacked Bluejay Invitational, the in-state showdown at Nebraska, and a full Big East gauntlet.
Schedule At a Glance
Creighton opens August 16 with an exhibition against South Dakota at home, then heads to Sioux Falls for the State Farm Women's Volleyball Showcase against Purdue, Minnesota, and USC — three top programs in three nights. The Bluejays close the regular season at home on Senior Day against Villanova on November 15, with the BIG EAST Championship semifinals and final hosted in Omaha on November 21–22.

Bluejay Invitational Brings Power Programs to Omaha
From September 4–6, Creighton hosts Arizona, Pepperdine, and Tulsa at D.J. Sokol Arena. I think this is one of the best early-season home tournaments in the country — a great chance to see Coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth's group test itself before Big East play opens.
The Nebraska Showdown
Mark September 16 on your calendar. The Bluejays travel to Lincoln for the annual rivalry match against Nebraska, and I believe this is the most-anticipated regular-season match in the state every year. Expect a packed Bob Devaney Sports Center and an electric atmosphere.
Big East Play
Conference play opens on the road at Seton Hall and St. John's in late September. Creighton's toughest Big East stretch comes in late October with a home weekend against Connecticut and Providence, followed by the road trip to Marquette and DePaul. I think that four-match swing decides the regular-season title.
Hosting the BIG EAST Championship
Creighton will host the BIG EAST Championship semifinals and final at D.J. Sokol Arena on November 21–22. Home-court advantage in the conference tournament is a huge deal, and I believe the Bluejays enter as the team to beat.
