The Stanford volleyball schedule 2026 runs 30 regular-season matches — 20 in ACC play, 10 non-conference — across the Cardinal's third season in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Stanford opens ranked No. 5 in the AVCA preseason poll and was picked to win the league outright by ACC coaches, the first time the program has topped the ACC preseason poll since joining the conference. That vote follows a 2025 season in which Stanford went 18-2 in league play to claim a share of the ACC title with Pitt — the program's 25th conference championship overall and its first as an ACC member — before falling in the NCAA regional semifinal. Reigning ACC Coach of the Year Kevin Hambly returns for his tenth season on The Farm, along with six All-ACC returners. Seven Stanford matches are on national television this season: ESPN2 for Wisconsin (Aug. 28) and Texas A&M (Sept. 9); ESPN for Kansas (Aug. 30), at Pitt (Sept. 27) and at North Carolina (Oct. 25); ACC Network for at SMU (Sept. 25) and at Notre Dame (Oct. 9); and Big Ten Network for the Penn State match at The Palestra (Sept. 11), which airs on the host conference's network. Worth knowing before you plan around the TV listings: none of Stanford's 12 home matches is currently scheduled for linear television.   Stanford won this match in five sets last November to clinch its share of the ACC title. A 10 a.m. Pacific start after a Friday night in South Bend is one of the schedule's genuine tests.

Is there an ACC volleyball tournament after the regular season?

No. The ACC does not hold a women's volleyball conference tournament. The champion is determined by regular-season record and receives the league's automatic NCAA Tournament bid, so after Nov. 28 the next date that matters is NCAA Selection Sunday.
