The short version
VolleyTrack does not require an account. We don't sell your data. We use Google Analytics to understand traffic, Google AdSense to show ads, and a small voting feature that stores an anonymous identifier — that's it. You can browse the entire site without giving us any personal information.
Information we collect
Automatically collected (analytics)
When you visit VolleyTrack, our analytics provider (Google Analytics 4) records anonymous usage data: pages viewed, time on page, device type, browser, approximate country and region, and the referring website. This data is aggregated and used to improve the site. We do not link it to your identity.
Fan voting
The fan voting feature stores your vote and a hashed device identifier used only to prevent ballot stuffing. We never collect your name, email or any account information for voting.
Email correspondence
If you email us, we retain your message and reply so we can follow up. We don't add you to any marketing list.
Cookies and similar technologies
VolleyTrack uses cookies for three purposes:
- Essential: remembering site preferences (e.g. dismissed banners).
- Analytics: Google Analytics _ga/_gid cookies for traffic measurement.
- Advertising: Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies to serve relevant ads and limit ad frequency.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time without losing access to schedules, rankings, articles or any other content on the site.
Advertising
Google AdSense and its certified partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google Ad Settings or the industry-wide YourAdChoices tool.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links — particularly to Amazon — are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Full details are on our disclaimer page.
Data retention
Google Analytics data is retained for the standard 14 months and then automatically aggregated. Voting records are retained for the duration of the active voting cycle. Email correspondence is retained for up to two years.
Children
VolleyTrack is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete the data.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are in the EU, UK or California, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Because we don't collect names or accounts, in practice this usually means deletion of analytics identifiers tied to your device. Email hello@volleyballschedule.us with your request and we'll respond within 30 days.

VolleyTrack uses Google Analytics, Google AdSense and the Amazon Associates program. Each has its own privacy policy, which you should review:
Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes to this page and update the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be flagged in our footer for at least 30 days.
