    About the Big East

    The Big East has long been led by Creighton and Marquette, with the Bluejays consistently ranked in the AVCA top 25 and capable of upsetting Power Five opponents in the NCAA Tournament.

    Big East play runs from late September through mid-November, followed by a conference tournament that awards the league's automatic NCAA Tournament bid.
