Louisville Volleyball Tickets: Venues, Seating and Parking
Sources reviewed ; current research and later results are reflected in this review.
Before buying Louisville volleyball tickets, check one detail that can change the whole trip: the building. The Cardinals use L&N Federal Credit Union Arena and KFC Yum! Center, so two home matches can need different seating maps and parking plans.
Choose the date from the Louisville volleyball schedule, read the venue and follow the school's ticket link. That puts you in the right place to compare seats rather than shopping from a generic Louisville listing. [1] [2]
This guide is about making that choice comfortably—campus or downtown, which view suits your group, and how to get from the car or drop-off point to the correct entrance.

In this guide
Two venues mean two different plans
| Venue on your fixture | Planning priority |
|---|---|
| L&N Federal Credit Union Arena | Use the volleyball arena's address, event map and campus arrival instructions |
| KFC Yum! Center | Use the downtown arena's event seating map and parking guidance |
| A road or neutral venue | Use the host's ticket and entry information |
Do not substitute L&N Stadium directions for L&N Federal Credit Union Arena directions. Similar sponsorship names can obscure that these are different facilities. Louisville's own facility page identifies the volleyball arena separately. [3]
Check the full venue name on both the school schedule and the ticket before paying. That simple comparison can prevent a far more expensive mistake than choosing a slightly less central seat.
A real example of why the building matters
The October 30 review offers a useful example. Louisville listed Clemson on October 30 at L&N Federal Credit Union Arena and Georgia Tech on November 1 at KFC Yum! Center. Those are consecutive home dates with different destinations. [1]
Once you've chosen a match, copy the full venue name into your travel plan. If a friend says they'll meet you at the usual place, make sure you mean the same building. Familiarity with the team doesn't automatically settle the meeting point.
Use the seating map attached to that event. A section number or entrance from one Louisville venue won't necessarily mean the same thing at the other.
Begin with the official buying route
Louisville Athletics maintains a volleyball ticket page linked from its official schedule. Start there to find the current purchase options and account instructions. If an event directs you to a ticketing partner, arrive through that official route so you can verify the event and seller context. [2]
Compare the final total rather than only the first advertised amount. Fees, delivery and the number of seats can change the practical cost. Check whether the listing is admission, parking, hospitality or another product before treating it as a match ticket.
For a group, confirm that the tickets are together and that every person needing admission is covered. Ask the ticket office about current child and student rules rather than assuming another school's policy applies.
Choose a view that fits how you watch
Start with the view you enjoy, then judge it on the correct venue's map. A volleyball-specific arena and a larger event arena can make the same general court angle feel quite different because of elevation and distance.
For following the whole rally, look for a view that lets you see both sides without a net post or other stated obstruction in the way. For a fan especially interested in serving and passing, an end-line angle can be appealing. Someone learning the rotations may prefer a wider sideline view.
Don't choose only by proximity. Read the row and seat notes, compare elevation and consider how the route works for the people attending. If someone needs step-free access or companion seating, resolve that with the ticket office before selecting another section on price alone.
The useful question is whether the seat fits your evening. A group wanting a full-court view may make a different choice from a regular fan who values being near a particular end of the court. The map and seat description should support that decision, rather than a vague best-seat label.

Parking at the volleyball arena
For an L&N Federal Credit Union Arena match, use Louisville's volleyball event instructions to choose parking. Don't copy a football lot plan because it shares the L&N sponsor name. The arena and L&N Stadium are different destinations. [3]
Check any permit, reservation or event-time restriction before driving. If the school hasn't confirmed a price or opening arrangement for your match, use its current notice or ticket-office guidance rather than a remembered figure from another season.
Save the destination and one approved alternative. Then look at the walk to the entrance, especially if anyone in the group needs fewer steps or a shorter route. A small amount of preparation here is more useful than circling the campus area while another person waits at the doors.
Parking and walking at KFC Yum! Center
For KFC Yum! Center, switch to the downtown arena's visitor information. Its official A–Z guide links the relevant parking, traffic and accessibility guidance. A nearby lot or garage may have its own operator and terms. [4]
Compare the actual walking route, not just a pin's distance from the arena. Crossings, ramps and the intended entrance affect how convenient a space feels. Check the garage's access hours if you're planning a meal afterward.
If using a ride service, agree on a safe legal pickup point before the match. The immediate exit area may be much busier when the crowd leaves than when you arrive. Save the destination in advance so the group doesn't need to improvise from different doors.
Mobile tickets and the meeting plan
Open the tickets at home and follow the provider's wallet or transfer instructions. If people are arriving separately, settle who has each ticket before travel; an uncompleted transfer is much easier to address ahead of the entrance queue.
Send the venue and meeting point with the tickets. That is particularly useful for Louisville, where one person may picture the downtown arena while another assumes the campus venue. A precise message saves more time than another reminder to arrive early.
Keep the phone charged and the account ready to open. If a credential is missing, use the official ticket-office contact while you still have time to get help. A receipt confirms a purchase, but you need the entry method specified for that event.
Bags, entry and accessibility
Read the rules for the building named on your ticket. Use that venue's current bag and prohibited-item guidance, including any instructions for medical necessities. A policy you remember from another Louisville event may belong to a different facility.
For accessibility, ask about the full route: parking or drop-off, entrance, lifts where needed and the seat. Describing a limited walking distance or a step-free requirement gives staff a clearer question than asking for a generally convenient section.
Leave enough time to use the route you've chosen. The match-length guide helps with the rest of the evening, but arrival is its own part of the visit. Getting settled before first serve lets a new fan enjoy the opening rotations instead of learning the building in a rush.
Compare the whole visit before choosing a date
If two Louisville home dates work for you, compare more than the ticket price. Put the correct building beside each date, then consider transport, walking, a meal and any accommodation. A downtown afternoon and a campus evening can fit very different plans.
For someone already staying downtown, a KFC Yum! Center event may fit an existing walking route. For another group, the campus date may be the more manageable journey. Those are personal travel choices, not a reason to declare one venue universally better.
Check the total at ticket checkout, including fees, before comparing it with the other option. Then consider whether parking is a separate purchase and whether your travel arrangement creates additional costs. A modest saving on admission can disappear if the rest of the evening becomes less practical.
When several households are traveling, agree who is buying admission and who is checking transport. Confirm that everyone is looking at the same opponent, date and venue. It is easy to discuss the Cardinals for several messages without noticing that the group has split between two home dates.
If neither visit fits comfortably, the Louisville viewing guide gives you a useful third option. You can still plan a shared evening without choosing an awkward trip just because tickets are available.
Plan a Louisville weekend around a confirmed match
Build the weekend outward from the event you have actually chosen. Confirm the ticket and building, then decide where to stay or eat. A familiar Louisville attraction or hotel is only convenient if its route works with this match's location and timing.
Read accommodation cancellation terms before committing, especially if other parts of the trip are still unsettled. Keep possible postseason dates separate from confirmed regular-season plans. A potential bracket route is an interesting prospect, but it doesn't establish a Louisville home session or a ticket you can use.
For a group with different interests, choose a clear meeting time and place near the correct entrance. Someone joining after another activity should have their supported ticket access and the full venue name, rather than rely on finding the person carrying all the credentials.
Allow some flexibility after the match. Volleyball doesn't have a fixed clock, and the crowd's departure can add time to the walk or drive. A relaxed meal plan or flexible pickup is easier to manage than an appointment which assumes every contest ends after three sets.
Before setting off, review just the essentials: match, building, tickets, route and entry rules. Those details will do more for a comfortable visit than another general list of Louisville fixtures.
